When I was a kid, I thought marmalade was a form of punishment. Who would come up with such a thing? How about "eggshell soup", or "banana peel pie"? What were they thinking? But now I kinda like it. Go figure :)

I've only had marmalade twice in my whole life, and both times I remember I liked the flavor, but the texture turned me off. lol @ the question.

It's awesome stuff. My mom first gave it to my on thick slices of French bread, spread with marmalade and then whipped cream on top, if you can believe it! She would send me outside to eat it I still love it.

I love Marmalade! It is great on toast, bread fresh from the oven, dinner rolls, yummmmmm!!
-
A little of both. ^_^ Marmalade reminds me of my grandmother, bless her soul. We used to share tea and toast with marmalade all the time when I was a young 'un.
-
Delicious. Except they never make it bitter enough, like my mother did.

Some of that stuff is "ground" in such a way that you might just think that they are disposing old tires in those jars.

Bad question to ask on a site where gastronomic excellence is based upon whether McDonald's or (choose your alternative fast food outlet) do the best fries. Marmalade is wonderful stuff.
-
Definitely a plot to cover up a mistake someone made for some fancy schmancy party.

Delicious!!

God awful stuff. Even the compost doesnt want it, Im sure it never breaks down. Like the fruit cakes with the peel, mental torture wondering if you might be unlucky enough to have a bit of peel in your slice of cake.
-
scrumptious spread...

I think you may be on to something lol. I think it's gross either way, but it's a good way to keep from wasting perfectly fine orange pulp.

It's all a conspiracy!!! *ramble ramble ramble*
