  • Hawking is the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge. Stephen Hawking's bestseller A Brief History of Time is the most popular book about cosmology ever written. I am currently reading this book. He is a good writer, making his points very simple and clear. He suffers from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

  • Quite a bit. he lives about 2 miles from me and has been associated with Cambridge University all his Academic Life. He is a Lucasian Professor of Mathematics.
