If pulled for speeding in Virginia, do I have the right to ask the officer to see the radar?

You can ask what the reading was and request calibration records for it, but don't count on seeing the actual unit.

No. the Supreme Court has ruled that motorists do not have a constitutional right to view the officers radar unit.

you can ask.most officers will let you see it ...but can you be sure he didnt clock another car and then say it was you???????
