Oh my gosh. I just watched Transformers tonight with my son. It's AWESOME. But so is The Nightmare Before Christmas. I would see them both.

We have an IMAX 3-D theater here in Tulsa. I bet both of them will not be in 3-D for the entire movie. They will feature selected scenes. But who cares? The ultra large screen is reason enough to go.

Transformers, because the action scenes will take better advantge of the 3D effect. Nightmare is a beautiful movie, and I enjoy it every time I see it, but 3D is a bit of a bother and without sufficient payback, simply isn't worth the hassle, for me anyway. See both if you can and have the stamina, but given a choice of one only, opt for Transformers because 3D will be more effective with its action sequences.
