  • I don't think they do it. Pretty sure. Probably with good reason, if you could each year in physics whoever was considered for it would be trumped by Newton. Not 100% sure though.
  • Nobel Prizes are not awarded posthumously, if there has ever been an exception I am at present unable to find such but will continnue to look. Ghandi did not receive one after 5 nominations Einstein did not with 11 nominations But Gore did , it makes one wonder . Einstein did receive a Prize finally in 1921 EDIT
