  • Frankly, I've never found typical American cuisine all that remarkable. But then again, that might just be because it's too familiar...
  • Every country I've been in (which is only three besides the one I live in) has had great food. Not to say I didn't encounter a couple of bad meals, but that happens no matter where you go - even at home!
  • in Australia we have close to 200 different cultures so our choice of foods from different countries is huge ...now I haven't tried them all but the ones I have have been cool ...but brains and liver are still brains and liver no matter which country they are from ...yuk !!
  • In Bonaire the poor locals eat iguanas. They call it "Bonaire Chicken" But Bonaire also had WONDERFUL restaurants, and some of the best milkshakes I've ever had!
  • Yes. France. And that truly shocked me, because I went to some of the best places in Paris and was expecting the best food in the world. That is what they are famous for. But even in the sidewalk cafe's, I got stale cheese and bread and over-ripe and tasteless fruit. I was VERY surprised. Germany, OTOH, has wonderful food. good question, Frank!
