Can you explain/describe the tempo, time signature, and musical characteristics of the Waltz? or do you know of a website where i can find this?

Well, I know it is in 3/4 time, three beats per measure, tempo somewhere around 180 bpm, as for the typical Strauss waltz, maybe a little slower for North American waltzes. Characteristics, one pronounced beat followed by two successive tones.
