No. It is not normal. It is a defect called Peyronie's Disease(found on Google)at www.malehealthcenter.com/c_peyronie.html. There is a natural cure, but that's all I know. Good Luck(if you planned on suggesting a cure to him). If not enjoy the extra attention to your g-spot! Contractor in Iraq

Turns out Peyronie's Disease is just one answer. A curved penis (any direction) can be normal. When a man has Peyronie's Syndrome it causes a few problems: painful and uncomfortable sex I would assume are the most important. It is caused by hardening of tissue. This could be corrected with surgery if needed. There are many websites out there to describe serious symptoms. If he has concerns he should ask his primary care doc. However, it IS common to have a curved penis, they come in all sizes shapes, curves, just like breasts do! My boyfriend also has a "prow" aka "banana" shaped penis, but does not have the syndrome. With this situation, certain positions could be uncomfortable for him so just have an open discussion. Also, this curvature tends to make longevity an issue, as certain things make it more sensitive. Overall, don't worry unless he meets the guidelines for potentially having the syndrome, and try and make the best for you and him. Cheers!

Yes, it is perfectly normal. My husband has an upward curve, too, and I like it! If it is painful for him or very sharply curved, or if it is so curved it makes sex nearly impossible, this needs to be discussed with a doctor. But if it doesn't bother him, then it's perfectly fine.
