Just about one inch (2.54 cm) in diameter. A newborn has an eye just under 3/4 of an inch,(18mm) the eye grows rapidly during the first year to just about the adult size. Hmmm perhaps I am not a normal adult, maybe the people who keep rating my answers are right,I am not human after all. Wait a minute! That's not my eyeball! I sure hope I can get it back in.
