    i'd beat the person down...after making sure they didn't have a weapon...i think...or id just leave it to the cops...and watch them beat the living hell out of the guy...also try to get a pic on my phone of the guy in case he left before they got there...

    For sure I would. I would call 911 or get someone else to and then at the very least try to scare the attacker away. If I was being attacked like that I would appreciate the same!

    I'd help if I could. Call 911. Scream fire. Throw something and if I had to get physical (the mugger might laugh himself to death watching me try but then..purpose served!)

    Where I use to live I saw people get mugged everyday. There was nothing I could do, most people had knives, more had guns. I wasn't going to try and get in there face with a knife when I am a chick and they are a group of guys, that would just be stupid. Concealed carry wasn't allowed in that city either, so if I had been armed I would have just gotten punished for that; which is bullsh*t if you ask me.

    Difficult one. I guess I would try to call the police first - I know they'd arrive too late, but getting involved myself would prob just mean 2 girls being mugged rather than 1.

    I'd go right after the mugger, then take all the wallets he's collected througout the day (Give back the one that belonged to the witness), and leave the mugger beaten and naked in the nearest dumpster with a note saying "This is going to happen EVERY time you mug someone.".

    I feel there is a fine line between a Good Samaritan and a total lunatic. You get yourself out of harms way and call the police or something of that nature. You aren't going to help anyone if you get involved and the mugger has a weapon. What a horrible scenario to imagine!

    In all honesty, unless the mugger were Vern Troyer (which actually wouldn't surprise me -- such an odd little man), I don't think physically I could be much of a deterrent. That being said, I would definitely yell and draw attention. Nobody likes THAT when they're trying to mug someone!
