Is it legal for a neighbor to photograph our child without our permission? We do not get along with our neighbor.

no i dont think so, i would be very concerned if i had a child and found out my neighbour was photographing him/her. as your neighbour said anything about they are photgraphing your child? its not really the norm to go around photographing children

It is not legal for your neighbour to photograph your child. It is no business of his to do that. He needs to take your permission to take the photograph and explain you the need for it. It is a matter of concern and you may ask someone to speak to him and not do that in future.

I'm pretty sure that's illegal...and creepy. What the hell is your neighbor photographing your kid for, anyway? I would tell him to knock it off before you call the police on his creepy stalker ass. I KNOW it's illegal if he plans to use the photos for any sort of commercial purposes or send them to a magazine or something.

Where were the photographs taken and for what purpose? If they were taken in public and for private use, it is legal. In fact, it is legal so long as they are not used for a commercial purpose.
