I've never known what I wanted to do for a living. But what I do now is not that bad, it's fairly low stress and it's kind of fun. I work in retail in a new kids clothing department, kind of like baby gap but our prices are better.

I have two small businesses that I own and operate from my home ... I teach a mix of self defense and health sciences, and I write software and sell it as shareware ... No, actually, when I was a young child I read a sci-fi book about a colony on Mars ... and as I grew up in the space race days of the 60s, I wanted to be the guy who controlled and operated the huge atmosphere generator for our Mars colonies ... I even have 5 university science degrees that make me qualified to do so ... but alas, because of budget cuts that stalled the space race after the Appollo missions, by the time we eventually do get colonies on Mars, I will be too old to go. ... in any event, I am fairly happy doing what I am doing ... a bit more money would be nice, but I am otherwise very satisfied ...
