Do you ever feel that some of us here are really just attempting to be better human beings while others are here only to vent their anger and disappointment? Reading some answers & questions lately has made me really question just how far 'we' have come!

I believe we're all here to learn. Some of us learn at a different rate, that's all. But in the end, each life brings us closer to perfection.

The bag is the Rorschach personality test of websites. It is what you see in it. Personal growth may occur, but its not in the by-laws. As for negativity, I respond to it here here as I do in my own life. It happens, but it doesn't have to consume me. My choice.

I think we're all here because we need one another..some of us lead happy lives so we bring that to the table..others are in unhappy situations and need a safe place to vent. Whatever the reason, it's best I think to just try to accept the person and believe that he/she is doing whatever it takes to just get through the day, and not take anything personally. Sometimes if you just listen long enough and "talk" long enough, you find that you were of some help. :)
