Oh yeah. I tried to go above her but it didn't seem to work. I just looked around for other jobs...and when I had enough... I grabbed the intercom and said I hate my job I QUIT!

yes, been there and done that. It was, as I remember, utterly an utterly miserable experience which left me feeling demoralised and demotivated for a while. I coped by getting a different job.
