Sadly, My mother passed away from a stroke. I had lunch with her on Sunday and she was fine. I tried calling her on Monday and Monday night, and again on Tuesday. By then I was getting concerned, so where the people at the retirement village she lived in. I drove over to the house, and found her "asleep" on the couch. She had gotten dressed to go out somewhere, but whilst in the living room must have felt tried and she sat down on the seat. Everything in the room as as it normally was. I can assume that the stroke came about so quickly, there wasn't enough time to phone 000 (I live in Australia) or even hit the villages emergany alarm button. In many regards, I'm pleased that things happened as quickly as they did.
