  • I think the underlying source of introversion for people is lack of self-confidence and being overly self-conscious about themselves. It is easy for people to keep to themselves if they do not want to expose/reveal their true personality to people in fear of rejection or lack of acceptance. So, this is the first and probably most difficult step towards becoming a more extroverted person: you have to feel comfortable being yourself around other people. :) Don't be unafraid of who you are; don't be afraid of what people will think because all it comes down to is whether or not you're happy with yourself. If they aren't open-minded to how unique we all are as individuals, then they are the ones who are at a loss. More concretely, generally I would suggest just to make yourself available to other people. Share your time and love with people you care about and people will naturally gravitate to you. Extrovertedness doesn't necessarily have to be shown through participating in more activities, than being more open and honest to people. :)
  • Actually, research suggests that being introverted is just a trait based on how the brain works. You should learn about, embrace, and adapt to life as an introvert, instead of rejecting it. Life will be alot easier for you. • THer real antisocial people start out as social. The best thing you can do as an intelligent introvert is to realise you know as much as the rest of them and so finnaly decide that speaking is worthwhile - afterall social reform is the greatest of all scientifci and artistic forms.
  • Some people are introverted because they lack self-confidence while some just prefer to be by themselves and don't like to mix much. If you're one of those people who don't have enough confidence to speak to a bunch of people then you can work on it.
  • Keep forcing yourself into (otherwise) awkward situations where you Must be extroverted. After enough failures and successes, then one will at least become more proficient in public.
