Are knowing boxing and wrestling skills a good combination for being a street fighter?

    Jiu-jitsu would be a good one to know as well. Once you've got an adversary locked up by applying a hold that can snap his joints, chances are he won't want to punch you too much anymore.

    Depends on how willing you are to use it. An organised match is something quite different from a street brawl in which no rules apply. One got to be absolutely ruthless in order to come out (mostly) unhurt.

    A very good basis would be Krav Maga in my opinion. This was developed on the streets.
