I think it's because they dress and speak in a manner associated with black people who are, for lack of a better word, "gansta". There are plenty of people who are friends with black people who use proper language and dress nicely, and neither the whites or blacks are called anything considered derogetory. Also, I have spoken to plenty of white kids that my kids had gone to school with who dressed/spoke as you are describing who freely admit to trying to be "black".

Because they "wear baggy clothes, use slang, or like to hang out with black people- is called a wiger or a wanna be black person"

**Wigger. There's two G's. I think that it's because they're fitting into the stereotypical black image that most people see day to day on television. In all fairness, there are black people who are considered "white" for NOT wearing the baggy clothes and not speaking slang. It goes both ways. I don't agree with that type of stereotyping for the simple fact that the way most people dress and talk comes from who you grew up around and what you saw coming up. If a black family moves to a suburban area and the black kids are around a bunch of white kids who do things like skateboard and listen to like, Nickleback (who I LOVE, BTW) then they're going to act like that too. If they went to a more urban area and were around different things, they'd act differently. I think people that make judgements like that or "call a person out" for acting a certain way is either looking for a rise or just really ignorant.
