WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT GO TO CLAIRE'S. If you want to seem macho and in a very male-friendly environment, go to a tattoo/piercing parlor. I reccommend that no matter what your gender.

While both ways get the job done, going to Claire's is financially a better choice. However, I strongly suggest spending the extra money and going to a tattoo shop to get any type of piercing. I got my cartilage pierced at After Thoughts or something, but it took forever to heal and really bothered me. I went to a professional to get my cartilage pierced for the second time right above the other. Using a needle hurt less and was much cleaner, not to mention that that hole healed 3x faster! Plus, a tattoo parlor probably have a better assortment of earrings~
