No. Even though the Yankees lost the series to Cleveland, which I predicted, he should not be fired. He is an eventual Hall of Famer, 8th on the all time career wins list. He's done a great job, they started really bad this season.

I think that Joe is not doing a good enough job for his team has lost 13 of 17 playoff games. They have not won the world series in this century,or since 2000.They have gotten to the world series 3 times, but not won, in the past 7 years and not past the first round of playoffs for the last 3 years. It is not all his fault, and has overpaid players that don't earn their wages. The Yankees are not a feared team by the rest of the league and the teams know that the Yanks can be beaten anytime ,even on their own turf.

No. He has consistently led his team to countless successful seasons. There are some teams that never reach the playoffs. You can't expect perfection out of the highest payed most talented roster all the time, just most of the time. I bet you a Kaputnick that he keeps his job. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079357/usercomments Be careful now or else.

The key word is he has DONE a great job, and the fact that they turned it around in the second half begs the question, why did they start the year so poorly? He should have been fired when they were 3 up on the Red Sox and the Sox came back to take the ALCS. What an embarrassment! It has been down hill ever since. Time for a change, all things must pass.
