  • The things that it can buy. It's the trunk of all evil.
  • religion
  • Actually, it's the "desire" for money that is the root of all evil. I would think that the desire for power would be first.
  • the clintons
  • Power, just ask George Bush
  • Of the seven major sins, "greed" is what blossoms first from the "money root" ... second place is a tie for either "sloth" or "lust" ... once you have money, you may want to either "do nothing" while you hire others to do everything, or you may want to buy physical pleasures with your money ... either way, the money sort of adds fertilizer to help the other sins grow within you.
  • "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely." I'd say Power.
  • False pride follows closely. The erroneous impression that you've achieved anything on your own. False pride is what makes you conclude that you're better than other people because of what you own, what you look like, your job title, or how much money you have. Just like greed, false pride will kill your spirit. If greed is the first step down the the path to destruction, false pride is surely the second. BTW, it's the love of money that's the root of all evil.
  • THE INTERNET!!
  • We'll first I'll have to say that. I myself do not believe in money being the root of all evil. I think it's more like the "LUST" for money that may be. But just for the H--l of it. Lets says it is. Then I would say some untrustworthy politics & tax would come in 2nd.......Just my point of view...M.C.S.
  • I hate to be the wet blanket but it's "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil" is attributed to Jesus. Money=good, Love of money=bad. I say people who don't qoute correctly are in second place. LOL
