Andrea Dworkin of SCUM ("Society for Cutting Up Men" - and no, I didn't make that up - who could?) fame.
When I hear feminist I think of an angry man-hating woman who thinks that every problem is caused by males and masculinity. Despite the fact that they are about as masculine as any man.
hypoctrite
Rosie O'Donnell.
"Maneater" more fearsome than a Great White!
I usually think of extremists who don't realize that men and women are different and are always going to be different.
an out dated female who wished she could grow balls and p**s standing up
Crazy lady, possibly lesbian, who only care about women's rights and not logical women's rights.
What I think of when I hear someone say "feminist" is that someone is trying to stir up emotions and get a fight going. For some reason, there was never an acknowledged middle ground on this issue and so it has been a basis for arguements for the last 40 years.
Hello,
I think... RUN!
ihome2
Ugly Women
Hairy Armpits
Bad Dress Sense
Harridans
And on the negative side........well I will not go there in case I get D/R's
A woman who has trouble with men.
A woman with no self-confidence.
Pissed-off, ugly women who want (and to a certain extent, have achieved) greater rights than males.
An in secure women!
An intelligent woman who's ideology has essentially shaped the postmodern world.
I think of AB's misshell (who is a feminist in a good way).
Germaine Greer
I think of myself.
When I hear that word, I picture that wman Gloria Alread, I can't stand her. But for most feminists, I think they just want equal pay & equal rights. You can tell I'm not one, lol
I think of my daughter's great career options--she can be a president, astronaut, etc. I think of her playing soccer, thanks to Title IX. I think of the women who risked ridicule and bombastic characterizations to see that women were free to choose many options for work, play and life.
Militantly Feminine
So rather pretty and lacy, with very gentile manners
Someone who believes men and women should have equal rights. That is all that feminist means, someone who hates men is actually sexist, not feminist, and the movement has nothing to do with sexual orientation, superiority, or inferiority.
Feminist attitude. . . . . Feminist look. . . . . . Feminist feeling about men.
