Can two UK citizens marry in Belgium? If so, what are the requirements?

    UK Forign and Common Wealth website http://www.fco.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/ShowPage&c=Page&cid=1007029391287 recommends that you should consult the Embassy or High Commission in London of the country concerned or the British Consulate in the district where the marriage is to take place.

    I recommend you contact them to verify this but in general, the marriage is recognized in the UK as long as the marriage is performed in a valid and accepted method for both countries. For example obtaining a legal marriage license by a duly authorised person to perform the cerimony.
