  • Go to a hair dresser. Although there are products on the market for re straightening permed hair, often enough folk ruin their hair. A hair dresser can ask you questions, look at your hair and has a selection of products s/he can use to insure that your get the perm out safely. Most likely s/he will tell you to wait until the hair relaxes a bit first.
  • WHEN I WAS 14 YEARS OF AGE, MY MOM USED EGGS AND VINIGER. IT DID NOT COME OUT THAT DAY, IT TOOK ABOUT 2MONTHS, MAKE SURE NOT TO USE TO MUCH VINGER, IT CAN HARM YOUR HAIR, THE EGGS ARE A CONDITIONER, SO THE EGSS ALONG WILL NOT GET THE PERM OUT, WHEN I TURNED 16 I PERMED MY HAIR, THAT WAS CRAZY. I KNOW, BUT AS OF THE FIRST OF MARCH 2008 I HAVE BEEN GROWING MY PERM OUT. AND AS OF 04-11-08 I AM DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN.   • I was also told that rinsing your hair in listerine after a wash, a stylist did it to my mom's hair. Which she told her that it may burn alil but will striaghten her hair. And it did but i wouldn't try it at home. I would also let a sytlist do it first.

  • A perm may be reversed by applying another perm. Instead of the hair being wrapped with perm rods, it is gently combed straight after the solution is applied. After processing, the hair is neutralized in the straight position. If you just want a looser curl, apply a "hot oil" treatment. olive oil ;-)
  • There is a reverse perm that you can get.
