Any good brand will do. The cheaper the food, the less digestable it is and the less nutrition the cat gets. You get what you pay for in pet foods. Purina Cat Chow is a reall good brand (no, I do not work for Purina, but I do work for a vet).

Have any of you read the Pig Dog book? Even if you work for a vet or have a preference to a dry cat food your kitty likes doesn't always mean it's good for them. Alot of your kitty foods contain too much corn. Look at it this way, when you eat corn does it digest or come out whole? If you eat too much corn all it does is bind the digestive system and make you drink water so you feel full. Just like the others who have answered I have a favorite food brand for my kitty, it's Royal Canin. This is not because it's a name brand, but because I did alot of looking up what type of nutrients and protein levels my cats would need. This company makes several cat specific foods for your kitty's needs. Including oral care, hairball and breed specific foods. I have included a link so you can see just what they have to offer and what your kitty needs for a good diet. There are a few foods I don't suggest you use, Science Diet being one of them. This is because they used to be the main "good" food competitor with Royal Canin, but in the last several years-without telling the masses; went back to their old recipe using chicken meal and corn meal as fillers. This is really bad for your kitty. Good luck. http://www.royalcanin.us/catfood/index.html
