  • Absolutely there are times when it's okay to break the law. Just because something is illegal doesn't mean that that law is right.
  • Sure, but you have to be able to take the ramifications too. You are still liable for your actions and their legality, regardless of the reasons for them.
  • Yes, absolutely. Our country has a history of accepting law-breaking as a way to instigate change. For example, Rosa Parks broke the law. And now, we have a more just society. I think it's alright to break the law when: * It is to challenge something you consider to be immoral or unethical * It will end up doing more good than harm * You wish to have the law changed and don't mind suffering the consequences of your actions
  • Some laws are arbitrary..some laws are bad laws..if my family's life is in danger..danger meaning life or death..there is no law that would prevent me from trying to prevent their deaths. If breaking that law caused my death as a consequence, that would be o.k. with me.
