Two things always sell--food and sex. I owned a food business in the past and people always want and need to eat. Pastries and other goodies that you can make yourself (and if it's yummy enough) is great, even soup and sandwiches or something novel. A coffee shop can be profitable too. My cousin worked in a sex book/toy store before, and he said there are always customers too, especially men and experimenting couples. But don't think of only "what" you sell, but "where" you sell it. The location of your business is very, very important.
