  • YES YES YES I hate that... only in emergencies I will allow it, or if they need to ask that person something in reference to the conversation at hand.

  • Yes, it's rude unless you ask the person on the phone to 'hold on.' It's also rude to interrupt someone who is on the phone like they aren't already talking to someone - something I really hate.

  • I used to have a boss that would stand over me and tell me what to tell the person because he didn't want to talk to them. I didn't like it at all! I can't focus on two conversations at once! I have a daughter-in-love that talks while her bf is talking and when they do that I can't understand either conversation! The only time I would do that is if the person in the room is involved in the conversation.
