At intersection, a car tries to make a left turn with green light. There is a lot of traffic, so that cars, in 2 of 3 closest oncoming lanes to turning car, yield and make a gap for turning car. The car turns, and is hit by car in 3rd lane. Who's fault?

It sounds to me like it is the person who is turning, as the guy in the 3rd lane would have had right of way over the person turning.

Any time you make a turn, you must yield to the vehicles going forward. even though lanes 1 and 2 yielded to let you turn, its your responsibility to make sure that lane 3 had also stopped, for your turn. Sorry, you also receive the gold ring for failing to yield the right away.
