Which program specifically? Usually you go to tools->options and select 'minimise to system tray'. To automatically start the program when you boot up, click on start->run then type 'msconfig' and select 'startup' then tick the box next to the program. If you do both of these it should always be there, but you might need to click on (<) to see it.
