I finish reading a book before reading another one.

If it's for pleasure, one at a time. Otherwise unlimited. At one point in law school I had 18 on the go at the same time.
-
I read more than one book at a time. It gets out of hand for me at about 4 or 5.
-
I must admit I am often reading more than one book at a time.

I read one book at a time - generally when I pick up a book, I don't put it down until it's finished! (yes yes - I'm one of THOSE readers lol) If I put a book down and move on to another book, chances are the book didn't hold my interest and won't be picked back up.

I can handle one non-fiction and one fiction book at the same time, but only one fiction book at any given time. Once it's finished, starts the new one.

Usually, when i get a new book i spend as much time as possible reading it. I litterally can't put it down :D I get so engrossed in it that i don't think i would want to read two or more books at the same time. I think i could manage two or three though if i tried. It would ruin things a bit for me however.

I usually read one at a time or I never finish in a timely fashion.
