A walk in completely tiled shower, no door, just big enough to walk right in.

    A good quality Toto toilet:-)

And a wonderful romantic tub with a view.

This is what we have so far. The shower is going to be downstairs. Still working on it.

    Not Here Anymore

A claw-foot bathtub (long and really deep), a separate tile shower, a toilet (duh) and a sink that looks like a piece of furniture rather than a sink (similar to the picture below). Oh, and a heat lamp - I loved that in one of the apartments I used to live in. Nothing better than stepping out of the tub or shower on a cold winters day and standing right under the heat lamp. ahhh.

Pretty much what my second one has:

    A sink, pressure-assisted flush toilet, shower, a 3'-wide by 2 1/2'-high wood-frame medicine cabinet, and a jacuzzi bathtub with 6 jets

I've always wanted a huge plasma screen TV in front of the toilet, with a Playstion 3, a DVD player, and a cable box attatched to it. That way I could play a video game, movie, or watch television while dropping the kids off at the pool.

A small hot water tank under the sink to provide hot water instantly instead or waiting for it to ruuuuun until it gets hot. I just did this last winter and it has proven to be best handyman project I've ever done. All you need is available at Home Depot, Lowes, ... It is not that hard or expensive, and saves water and energy.

One of those crazy ass waterfall showers. And two toilets set right next to eachother just in case of a double trouble (for those of you familiar with those rare times you run to the bathroom when you are seriously hammered and have to vomit and dump at the same time, so that no matter what end you aim at the toilet, something bad is going to happen).

Honestly, I may not want to have free reign to do whatever I want with a bathroom, cuz if I am allowed to put a computer in there and a microwave, maybe a little mini futon, I may not come out.

  • A HUGE tub and I got my wish when we built our house. Good thing we also have one of those unlimited hot water units instead of a hot water heater :) Panoramic view windows all around (we have no neighbors). That's great in the spring/summer. The breeze that comes through is heavenly.

Not for use in the bathroom, but how clever is this "Viteo" outside shower?

"The round-plate like shower sits on the ground and sprays a water jet about 4 meters high in the air, as you step-on to it. This step-on showering mechanism is ideal for your garden, patio or around the pool. The water-supply to this inverted shower results from the standard hosepipe with a Gardena connection."

  • A bathtub and a dry floor. Here in Vietnam, the entire floor of the bathroom gets wet when you take a shower. And very few houses have bathtubs.

    I miss bathtubs.

I think an ideal bathroom has a sprayer (to match the hot/cold and faucet) so it is easier to clean your jacuzzi, it has been a lifesaver. When the house was being built the only thing stolen before we finished was the gold sprayer for the bathtub and stolen right off of the tub. Ha! I guess he liked my idea. It's also great for washing my hubby's hair in the 2 person jacuzzi!!
