Do you prefer episodes where cartoon characters are rivals or on the same side? (ie: episodes where Tom chases Jerry, or episodes where Tom and Jerry are teamed together against a common foe?)

It's not classic Cat & Mouse if they are friends. It's just not natural. I always enjoyed the antics and seeing them beat the hell out of one another. Human >> Dog >> Cat >> Mouse >> canary or goldfish. That's the cartoon cat mouse food chain mainly.

I think they should be teamed up together against a common foe because that's nicer. But I love the Coyote and the Roadrunner. Meep Meep.

I like them competing against each other, I was always pissed that Tom never caught and ate Jerry and Poor Coyote deserved to nibble on road runner sometimes. I love the bit on Family Guy where Elmer just shoots the hell out of Bugs Bunny lol
