Yes. It may be someone who needs to talk with me or that I want to talk to. If I am busy, I let voice mail handle it.

Yes I do. I have elderly family members nearly 2,000 miles away. I would never forgive myself if I ignored a call from somebody who had come across them in some sort of difficulty and was ringing to let me know.

Since I've worked as a telemarketer and found out that all you have to do IS answer, then tell them to put you on their Do Not Call List, yes. And now they're all gone.....

No, because a couple of years ago, at the end of high school, I had a falling out with a friend (I'd been living in her house with her and her parents and moved out suddenly) and her mom kept calling me from blocked numbers to harass me and threaten me. To this day I don't answer unavailable or private calls. I figure if they really need to talk to me, they can leave a message and a phone number.

depends on my mood. if i'm in a good mood i'll pick up and take the chance it's someone i'm not interested in talking to. if i'm tired i'll only pick up for specific people.

I'm one of those annoying people that doesn't answer the phone at all. I let the machine get it and if it is important I call back. Before about 9pm or so it's never for me unless it is a telemarketer anyway.
