I personally have had a great run with Hondas. I had a 99 civic, 2002 civic and a 2005 civic and now I have a 2007 Honda CRV. Very little problems and great re-sale value.

toyota, ive had 4 since 1978.very reliable good resale value.they're almost indestructable.

I'm with funny bunny. Honda Civic is what i'm used to. I beat and abuse it and it runs smooth and gives me no hassle. Great on gas mileage. Great room. Resale great. Jetta is less rommier but better "look" i guess. Dodge Neon...no. I lean more towards cars not from the u.s.a. Luck
