    Their are no specific benifits, the idea is that they re grown naturaly with out any pestersides or growth enhancements.

    Well, your wallet will be lighter to carry from paying silly amounts of money for something that is much cheaper only a few feet away. Also, you are contributing more to the economy by paying twice as much as needed for a tomato, etc.

    They have more vitamins and minerals in them so you eat less to get the food value you need from them.They are not genetically modified food,that is sprayed with pesticides.The canned and bottled organic food is not loaded with sugar.With regular canned food the second ingredient by volume is sugar,which is not good for the body.Organic meat is not loaded with hormones and other chemicals and the animals are treated properly and not crammed in small cages their whole lives.The organic chickens are allowed to run around,(free range) and fed natural foods.That is why the eggs are brown.It is worth the little extra paid for better health.

    the latest report says not a great deal .... no better for you than normal grown food and it costs far out weigh any benefits

    p.s. that report comes from Australias top science and think tank ..the C.S.I.R.O.
