  • My doc had me on 2 different bp meds and my pb was still high. My mom suggested Garlic. I didn't want to go on it because I hate the taste of garlic. She talked me into trying it for a month. Next time my bp was checked at the doctors he said whatever you are doing keep at it. my bp was perfect. I would suggest that if you are going to try any natural remedies that you talk to your doctor or pharmicist first. You need to get the odorless kind if you don't want to burp the taste of garlic all day. I buy mine at Walmart.
  • Although there is no complete scientific evidence that herbs can help lower blood pressure, the two most promising include garlic and hawthorn. The most compelling and best way to lower blood pressure is a change in lifestyle. Such as exercising, reduce your salt intake, drink less alcohol (if you drink at all), and increase your intake of potassium, magnesium and calcium. Fresh fruits and vegetables will help as well.
  • Passion Fruit. It is not a herb, but a delicious fruit. I once tried a glass of pure passion fruit and immediately noticed the "slowing down" feeling of dropping blood pressure very fast.
