Do you read other members profiles or stick mainly with the questions and answers?

I'm a question and answer kind of a guy. I don't see what could be gained by viewing profiles. Maybe it's just me.

I read the profiles. I think I can get a better feel of what the people are like that I'm in contact with on this site, since I'm on here alot. There are some VERY interesting people on here.

I read profiles when I come across someone I think is interesting.

Profiles if I come across several answers/questions I really like of a person's. That's how I ran across you. :) Other times I'll check it out if someone seems to really be in pain or have a tough situation so I can get a better feel of how to answer. Many times they'll have asked the question in several different ways with more info each time.

I read profiles. I like to use the information in them to give me a look from their perspective on things.

Generally, I simply like to post an answer or a comment. Not really into asking questions. As for peoples' profiles, I never read them. For instance, if you were a 46 year old divorced male from TN via IN who grew up in a big family, I wouldn't know it. If you were independently wealthy and enjoyed poetry, I wouldn't know that either. Some people on AB are not in it for the points. Some prefer honesty in people, enjoy commenting on AB, but will not debate issues as they feel this is not the appropriate forum. Is that you? I wouldn't know. Nice profile, by the way:)

I stick mainly with the questions and answers. I will read a profile if they have said something interesting, many times I'll look at other answers and questions they have done because I find them fun. :)

You cannot truely tell what a person is like unless you meet them I just come on here looking up info and stating my opinions I dont say "safe" answers which alot do (not all) Most dont really admit it

I read the profiles of those who are on my friends' list, and those who have sent me a frien request.
