If you are interested in becoming a registered rep which is someone licensed to sell mutual funds you nee to pass the FINRA series 6 & 63 test. If you want to sell individual stocks, you have to pass the FINRA series 7. Insurance producers license is managed by the state you live in (check out their website for more details). Some companies will sponsor new college grads and help you get licensed. There are also individual courses you can take to help you specialize and pass the licensing exams. These tests are not easy!
