  • Get a book and sit at his table with him. Just kinda glance up his way every so often and smile. Hopefully he will get the hint if not hit him over the head with the book and ask him why he isn't responding to your cute attempt to flirt with him lol. J/K about hitting him with the book

  • Walk by him once look at what topic he is studying and then when you walk by again. Just say hello and comment on the topic he is reading about. That should get your foot in the door. Then quickly introduce yourself and the hard parts over. Ask what other subjects hes studying and then if you see something that you are also studying ask for help (this will allow you two to spend time together with out pressure, and to get to know one another). Best wishes and good luck.
  • Ah yes...the shy guy...my favorite!!! Find out what you have in common - same subjects in school? Same sport? Same music? Ask to sit at his library table. If he is studying math, take out *your* math book. If he is studying history, take out *your* history book. Make a habit of seeing him in the library, make eye contact, but don't do the stare-down thing...it makes shy guess even more nervous. The casual-friend approach works better with shy guys. Be his friend first. Ask him for help with a subject that you have seen him studying. Shy guys often come around when they have a topic on which to speak on - especially if it is one he likes or is good at or interested in. Takes the pressure off of him trying to think what to say. If he rides a motorcycle, say "hey, I saw you on your motorcycle today. How long have you been riding?" If he is wearing a pro-sport shirt say, "hey, did you catch that XYZ game last night?" (name the team he is wearing) DON'T *flirt* too much or play too coy...shy guys don't usually know how to respond to that. Just find some common ground and build slowly from there!
  • Just sit next to him smile and say need help? hes gonna look up an thennnnnn smile again.
  • Is he taller than you? Are their book shelves around? Politely excuse yourself and ask if he could help you grab a book on the top shelf. Extra bonus if you can catch a glimpse of what he is into, and can coordinate it so the book you're removing is of similar subject.
  • Pick up a book on human sexuality and sit right across from him. Moan as you read it... He'll notice. >:)
