  • Yes, one is Tommy Maddox who has played in three different leagues (NFL, Arena, XFL). His success started as a star with the UCLA Bruins. After college, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round in 1992. Following his limited playing time, he was released by several NFL clubs. Maddox hooked on with the Arena Football League where he began to make a name for himself. In 1997, he completed 283-of-490 passes for 3,378 yards and an amazing 62 touchdowns with the New Jersey Red Dogs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Maddox Cliff Branch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliff_Branch Others are LaVell Boyd, Michael Bishop, Stoney Case, Jose Cortez, Eric England, Johnnie Harris, Todd Marinovich & Art Schlichter, just to name a few. The most famous AFL player in history is Kurt Warner, former quarterback of the now-defunct Iowa Barnstormers, who went on to become NFL and Super Bowl MVP. Another big name would be Dolphins receiver Oronde Gadsden, who once starred for the now-defunct Portland ForestDragons (the regular non-forest New York Dragons still exist). There's also AFL legend Jay Gruden, head coach of the Orlando Predators and former star quarterback with the Tampa Bay Storm, best known as the younger brother of Oakland Raiders coach Jon.
  • Henry named quite a few. The only other one I can add is Clint Stoerner (excuse spelling) who is a former back-up QB for the Dallas Cowboys.
