I dislike Rome Fiumicino intensely, the staff are so rude! The best experience I've had is at John Lennon airport, but it's only good for flights within the UK and Europe. I like it because it's small and friendly, but obviously this means there isn't a lot to do. Other than that, Manchester ranks as my favourite international airport. I've only been to about 6 different airports thus far in my life so there isn't much to compare.

Favorite: Denver, security lines go relatively quickly Least: Oakland, security lines go out the door and are probably about a quarter mile long (no, really!) and move excruciatingly slow.

The two airports I like are Minneapolis St Paul (KMSP) and Dayton, Ohio (James M Cox International - KDAY) I have flown out of both of these hundreds of times. My least favorite, although a popular airport, is JFK. The delays and lines are unreal. I have sat in traffic on taxiways for hours on end waiting to depart or trying to get to the gate.

Minneapolis (MSP) has some of the best food, a kiddie play area, and an interesting mall in the middle. If you have more than 3-hours to sit, you can catch the light rail to the Mall of America, which is only 10 minutes away. The easiest to operate in/out of (as a pilot) are probably Denver (DEN), and Detroit (DTW), since the runways, taxiways, and terminals are well-designed. Least favorite: Chicago-Midway! Although the terminal is pleasant on the inside, the runways are too short...too close together...and too busy. It's not a comfortable combination.
-
My favourite is Lanzarote and I only like it because when I land there it means I'm almost home. My least favourite is London Gatwick.
-
My favorite -- Pittsburgh, because of the airport mall Least favorite -- Philadelphia, because it's too damn big and they always lose my luggage.
