  • Yes i was very lucky and still am on one side of the family
  • Yes. My grandparents are great. I lived with them as a child.
  • Oh yea. And boy could granny cook. However, my grandpa wasn't much of a cook, but he made up for it being a really good person @ fishing. My whole family would go and I always would fish with him instead of everybody else. May they both RIP.
  • They weren't around much so I never felt the love but I am a loving grandparent to my Meagan.
  • I wasn't allowed contact with my father's family after my parents divorced, but my Nana was wonderful!
  • My grandparents were fantastic. Before my mom's dad got sick he was so fun and full of life, and he was the inspiration for my love of photography. My grandma is the same way still to this day! My dad's dad had 4-5 acres in his back yard that was full of hand made play things for all his grandkids! Merry-go-round, rabbit pen, pool, covered picnic tables, fish filled ponds, play house, volleyball, baseball diamond (miniature obviously), wishing well and his golf cart he let us drive around the backyard. And every year he'd take us to the apple orchard, Dairy Queen, skating rink, zoo...anywhere he could think up we'd go! Grandma was always right there with us and talked grandpa into letting us do things he didn't want to!
  • Yes, I did...
  • A very loving Grandfather and Step Grandmother.
  • My Grandmas were friggin awesome... they loved me very much. My one grandpa died before I was born, but I heard he was stellar. The other grandpa is a friggin jerk and he doesn't like me because I am adopted and therefore not really in the family.
  • Yes I have wonderful memories of my grandparents. They were very good to my parents and my brothers and me.
  • I only knew one of my grandparents, my grandma. I love her and she loves me. :)
  • I barely knew my grandparents..I don't remember my maternal grandparents and just have very vague recollections of my paternal ones..They all died when I was very young.
  • One of my grandmothers died before I was born. One of my grandfathers died shortly after I was born, but I am told showed no interest in me because I wasn't a boy. My remaining grandfather remarried, and I'm sure loved me in his own way, but we never saw him much, and between them, they had probably 30 grandchildren, so I never felt special much. My step grandmohter was always more interested in HER grandchildren than his. However, my one grandmother who was around made up for all the rest of them. She was amazing, wonderful and very loving. I still miss her.
  • If I didn't have a child, I would give up my life in exchange for having them alive & healthy again
  • My grandparents were really great I could talk to them about a lot more than I could my parents!!!!!!
  • Yes, my grandparents are very helpful to some of my problems
  • No. One grandmother died before I was born. One granfather died when I was 2 years old. One grandfather died when I was 5 years old, he was a cranky old man. My grandmother who passed away about 11 years ago loved my older brother and youngest sister. Us middle children didn't get as much love.
  • Not really..both grandfathers were long gone by the time I got here. I was never was close to either grandmother , one was old and in another state, my mom's mother was not that approachable. My kids are living with a similar fate unfortunatlely... My parents are gone, my hubby's parents are uh..difficult.. I am hoping and planning on breaking the cycle in about 15 or 20 years for my own kids and grandkids I'm sure having grandparents who are helpful and reliable offers a lot of support many of us parents or kids don't get :(
  • My mother's parents have begun to show me much love lately, perhaps because I'm their oldest grandchild. my father's mother favour my younger sister, but she is still very loving and caring. I love them all dearly, too.
  • I had extremely loving grandparents. They're very important to me and I've extremely close to them.
  • Very much yes I was a sick baby and while I was in the hospital my grandmother fell down the hospital step and she was offered 20,000 dollars award and gave it to my mother for my bills since she had to quit work so yes My grandma passed a few days ago-I love her so much-thanks u granny
  • Don't know. Never met them! I know my "paternal" grandmother and I shared one dislike, though! My mother!
  • The only grandparent that I ever knew was one grandmother, and she was very cool, usually.
