Nope - the store brand Cocoa Crunch has the same ingredients as the General Mills Cocoa Puffs - you're paying for packaging and the name with the Puffs.

They all taste the same to me.
-
Sometimes but certainly not always.

In some cases, yes. I won't buy the store brand canned soups (the tomato especially) because it's just not as good as Campbell's.
-
Sometimes I think that both taste the same. And, so of the off brand name products don't taste as good as the name brand products. It depends on what you buy.
-
Usually they seem about the same and I cannot tell the difference. One thing I have found is the store brand peanuts are not as good. I love honey roasted peanuts and I always buy Planters, as the store brand is not nearly as good.
-
They all taste the same to me besides cheese. I can't eat cheap cheese.

No, Brand named food is marketed by publicity and not by their quality or taste. Store made is equivalent to home made.
-
No...because they're one in the same. Store brands are made by the name brands plants and distributed with the store label. You won't know which major brand the product is, though, so you may have to try a few to find which tastes like the name brand one you already love. It's always worth trying the store brand!
