No I usually pour the first one for the trash....I use the first one to see if the griddle is too hot or not ready yet....it's always a throw away:)

Usually I pour the first one for the dogs, because it never cooks right in the pan and breaks when I try to scrape it out. I think this little "offering" works, because the second and subsequent pancakes always turn out fine. :)
