If you douche just use water; or water and vinegar. And just washing the outside area with unscented soaps can help.

always use water first after using the loo or after sex to wash before wiping. your under pant should not be tight and should be of very light material so that fresh air can get in there and once you know you are in the privacy of your home do not put on panties. goodluck

It could be BV bacterial vaginitis. It is very common it has to do with an imbalance of good and bad bacteria. My sister read on the internet Boric acid sold at cvs over counter just ask pharmacist. The powder only make a paste and in the shower up it goes. . Use until you have no more odor. You can alway put it on a tampon and use. Good luck.

no because, it's due to inflammation of the vagina which is the result of an infection. you need to see a doctor to find out what kind of infection you have. It could be an STD or other bacteral infection. you don't want to let it go. you need antibiotics unless it's a yeast infection.

You could use vinegar and water. Vinegar is used in some of the douches that are sold at the drugstore, and using vinegar water solution is so affordable and much healthier than the ones sold retail. I know it sounds strange but it will keep you selling fresh. A woman's douche bag (which you can purchase at your local drugstore) holds 8 oz. So, you would use 1oz. of distilled vinegar, 8oz. of water. Also, yogurt is recommended as a good part of a woman's diet for vaginal care

Addition to my original response: You should be aware that an odor is often a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI).
