Are there any father-in-law jokes?

I've copied and pasted this from Eforu.com Jokes, because my joke telling skills are lousy-

A young woman brings home her fiance to meet her parents. After dinner, her mother tells her father to find out about the young man. The father invites the fiancee to his study for a drink.
'So what are your plans?' the father asks the young man.
'I am a Torah scholar,' he replies.
'A Torah scholar. Hmmm,' the father says. 'Admirable, but what will you do to provide a nice house for my daughter to live in, as she's accustomed to?'
'I will study,' the young man replies, 'and God will provide for us.'
'And how will you buy her a beautiful engagement ring, such as she deserves?' asks the father.
'I will concentrate on my studies,' the young man replies, 'God will provide for us.'
'And children?' asks the father. 'How will you support children?'
'Don't worry, sir, God will provide,' replies the fiance.
The conversation proceeds like this, and each time the father questions, the young idealist insists that God will provide.
Later, the mother asks, 'How did it go, Honey?'
The father answers, 'He has no job and no plans, but the good news is he thinks I'm God.'

I don't think this is precisely what you're looking for- it's hardly a male version of the typical mother in law joke. I'm no sociologist, but it seems that in the joke world gender roles are still fairly strict. Mothers-in-law harrass and meddle in the lives of the wives and husbands of their offspring, while fathers are typically relegated to a role of sitting at home cleaning their shotgun while their daughters are out on dates. Fathers-in-law are involved in jokes about dating and marriage, but are an entirely separate archtype.

A couple of days later the mother heard the humming sound again, this time in the living room. Upon entering the room, she found her husband watching television with the vibrator buzzing away beside him. "What are you doing?" she asked.

He replied, "Watching the game with my son-in-law."

No, because they're the one's who carry the guns.

Ask a group of mothers-in-law what they think. They may even be married to one.

You will be able to find literally hundreds of jokes about father in laws if you go to a popular search engine such as google and just write in the box father in law jokes. Don't put it in quotes or it will only give you sites with those exact words in that exact order, what you want is just those words in the site.

It will probably direct you to sites that have archives of jokes in categories. Look around the site for these categories. Many people are afraid to use search engines because they don't know exactly how to use them. Its not the proper way to use them but it works fine if you just type in a question such as how many pints in a quart and it will search for sites that have those words in them and therefore most of the sites will have your answer in them. I got off the subject forgive me but I thought it might be useful.
