I think the saw is pretty darn weird, but I love the way it sounds!

The theremin sounds something like a musical saw, but what's unusual is the way it's played. The pitch can be changed without even touching it - just moving your hands in the air near its antenna will change its pitch. The friction drum has a strange sound. I used to think it was a human voice when I heard it, before I found out what it was. The berimbau is another unusual instrument. It's a bow with a metal string and a gourd resonator. The sound can be changed by pressing the gourd against the stomach.

The Degeridoo (spelling?) is pretty darn weird to me. I kinda like it though =)

I've always thought many of the instrumental members of a jug band were rather weird, myself. They sure make a strange combo of sounds, too.

Harp. Because the angels play it in heaven.

Theremins are pretty wild. what's more, they were invented by the same guy who invented the first functional wireless bug. weird instrument + Russian espionage = awesome.

I'm going to say oboes. I've never liked them. I think they sound like a constipated duck.
