Certainly. The American way is whatever road you wish to follow to your goal. Unlike many places in the world, here you can start from nothing and be something, rich, famous, happy. Try that in places like Venezuela now, Iran, or North Korea. Or even other countries where dictators or warlords continually ravage their people and their economy. Many places in Africa can never escape this kind of governing.

Yes & no. It most certainly is the adopted American Way NOW, but it was already "the way to go" long before Christopher Columbus got lost looking for India.
