Wine gums is jelly made from gelatin. the closest equivalent is jellied candies where pectin and fruit juice are used to make the jelly. check the label

There are some you could try here, although none that really hit the wine gum thing: http://www.sweetsforu.co.uk/index.php?cPath=54_47 It's a bit annoying because there are plenty of vegetarian alternatives to gelatin (agar agar which comes from seaweed does exactly the same job) but most companies won't use them. I don't really eat sweets any more (too good!) but I do remember when I was a teenager getting something from Holland & Barratt that had a similar taste and consistency to wine gums - not sure if they do them any more, but they definetly do vegetarian mints and other sweets.

I think Jelly Babies are vegetarian friendly as they don't contain gelatin, but as free spirt says you should check the label. You should always go for MALE JELLY BABIES, as you get slightly more jelly :-)
